Movin on – to Charleston, SC

How do I have so much sh*t?

I have the most amount of little things I have ever seen.  My bed and a couch are the only “large” items, everything else has to do with artwork, music, and fishing.  I also have hundreds of “knick-knacks” that my mom has given me over the years.  I have so many damn clothes, hundreds of flyfishing industry t-shirts, and I cant throw them away.  They are like flies, they all have a story or memory in some way.  Why do I have 4 guitar amps?  7 guitars?  A drafting table I NEVER use…it just allows me to pile up junk on it…reciepts, letters, bills and what not…art never happens here, I plan on changing that, just like I plan on running more often.  Magazines?  I have so many art and flyfishing mags, why do I keep them?  Will I really one day need the June of 2007 Western Art Collector magazine for some sort of reference…no, but maybe.  So lets carry to Charleston, SC… 50 pounds of magazines, probably 100 pounds!  I wish I could have packed my friends.  Oh well, time to unpack.

  1. The magazine comment cracks me up. I moved about 60lbs of magazines to Alaska 6 years ago and probably about 100lbs from AK to FL. Why? Cause I might want to chase big Jacks on poppers on the FL west coast or go fish the steelhead train in the PNW someday and there are articles on both in my collection.

Oh, and I see your guitars and raise you a drum kit. HA!

    • Oh yea, and of course I will need to research “Why fish only take size #22’s on the San Juan in February…good stuff. If i had a drum kit it wouldn’t have fit…good stuff!
